Half a David in the Savenake Forest, Wiltshire, 1992

I'd liberated this polystyrene rendering of half a Michaelangelo's David from a commercial somewhere and it was hanging around the house for a while. I planted it in our local forest - the Savenake in Northern Wiltshire - and draped some brambles and a fern across it.

Don't know what I was up to, to be honest. It was about the same time as I was starting to write The Big Over Easy, although I don't think the two are related.
