If you opt for the former there are four books so far: The Eyre Affair, Lost in a Good Book, The Well of Lost Plots and Something Rotten. If you opt for the latter, The Big Over Easy was published this year with the second, The Fourth Bear, due out in July 2006. It's best to read the 'Thursday Next' series in order, the 'Nursery Crime' Series less so.
