0. Mineral, in the "not alive" sense, not the sense I would normally use.
1. Is it a breadbin? No.
2. Is it useful? Yes/No.
3. Is it bigger than a breadbin/breadbox? Yes, fitting one into a breadbin would be difficult, at best.
4. Is it transparent? No.
5. Does it benefit from a power supply? Yes. (Note that I count "power supply" as being some sort of energy input, whether from a wall plug, batteries, hamster on a wheel, solar etc. Basically, it needs energy to be useful.)
6. Is it easily portable? Yes.
7. Is it primarily a domestic item? No; the majority of people will not have one.
8. Is it used as part of a hobby? Yes.
9. Is it Ffordean? From what I recall, it is mentioned in at least one of the Fforde books, yes. If not, it should be. :P
10. Does it have at least one wheel? Yes.
