It wasn't a pink satin wedding dress was it? He hadn't been left at the altar by any chance!
And what did the kids make of it? They would have shredded him at our school.

It did look a bit like a wedding dress now you come to mention it! I dread to think what kind if altar it would've been.

Yes it shows a lot of courage (or stupidity) wearing a long pink satin dress in front of 30 sarcastic Edinburgh adolescents - he did survive a couple of terms though - he was in a world of his own - didn't seem to phase him at all (which is incredible because we must've had the world speed record at getting rid of student teachers. Makes me wince to think of it.

We got sent a rather moderately attractive looking male student teacher once and the entire school gridlocked outside his classroom as 400 teenage girls tried to get a look at him.
