Starting to look kind of fun. Luckily this was all done in Summer so we could work out-of-doors. If it was winter I don't think we'd be nearly so keen.
 
 
I chose green instead of yellow (less violent!) and we masked that, too, then began the painstaking work of brushing in, by hand, the lines of the reptiles. This is actually a lot more fun than it looks and is by far the most satisfying part of the job. The paint on the reptiles was cellulose-based but the black paint for the lines was enamel - it goes on better. Time taken for first to last, not counting breaks: about two weeks.
