Some of the great literature is very re-readable. Things like 'The Count of Monte Cristo' but I don't have enough lifetime left.
Try reading 'The tales of Baron Munchausen' but leave it about three years before you re-read it. Similarly with Gulliver's Travels, and the romances concerning travel in space written before H G Well's and Jules Verne. They mostly reflect the way of thought then current and can provide an interesting insight into previous cultures.
