Hee! And he squeaks! How cute!

Slightly concerned by "if you need a slightly firmer duck" - uh?

I like them nice and soft, then I don't hurt my wrists when I squeak them. This is very important - you can't wear surgical splints in the bath.

(Goodness... if that were overheard out of context, people could be wondering about it for literally years!)

I'm wondering now and I heard in IN context!

I've had tenosynovitis in both wrists for the last twelve years, so I wear ugly surgical splints all the time... but obviously not in the bath (or while sleeping). Certain wrist movements are more painful than others, and squeezing is one of the worst (but not as bad as twisting; I have various gadgets for opening jars and bottles). Hence I need my duck to be nice and soft, so that it isn't too painful to squeak it.

Sarah - Isn't he adorable! I have two myself. They are quite friendly and most definitely stay upright in the bath!

My kids have a large one of him and two smaller ones (obviously senior and two juniors). We also have one very similar, but blue. He must be cold.....
