I enjoyed it - was a little disappointed at the absence of the Cheerful Fairy but like all these things, it had to be trimmed and I guess she was expendable.

Liked Joss as Ridcully, but in my mind, he'll always be Brian Blessed!

I saw on Dave Langford's website a small aside that Vadim Jean is to direct a follow-up to "The Hogfather", (emphatically not a sequel) which will be based on "The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic".

Read the entry for 16th Feb for the info.

Yeah... I'm sure I read an interview with Tony Robinson saying he was going to be involved. Presumably not as Crumley...

I quite fancy the idea of Tony Robinson as Cohen.

I'd like to see Colin Smythe have a go at it!

Death should be voiced by Christopher Lee, he did the animated dvds

Oh my God! He's not Welsh is he?

Yes, but that doesn't mean no-one else could do it...

... I mean, there have been loads of actors playing James Bond.

Who was in Hogfather as Death?

Ian Richardson did the voice I think.

Yes, he did. Marnix Van Den Broeke provided the body.

Hence my comment about who will voice Death in the next one, as Ian Richards has now passed on.

I really REALLY hope channel 7 *does* put it on, not just buying the rights to stop anyone else having them...

Did anyone attend "Nullus Anxietas" and if so did they see "Run Rincewind, Run"?

If so, how was it?

Oooo.... He can do it I think.

But Death is a fairly minor role in that one.

Even though I love to get my hands on a new Pratchett chock-full of Death (like Hogfather) I also love the times where he just pops in for a quick joke* and is off again.

I envy Pratchett on that one, he has created the perfect throw-away joke character, he can be anywhere, anytime.

I cant pull that off in the "reality based" stuff I write.... although me newest one is about vampires....

I've got a Hofather question, If they gave the Fairy the ax, do the scenes in The Maul happen in the TV movie?

*and a little hint that he might be becoming more human
