Would have to read the book again it's been a while.

It's a very close adaptation of the book but can't remember which bit you mean.

Anton, when you ask about the Maul, if you mean the bit with the real hogs, children on the Hogfather's knee and Pixie Albert, yes, it is all in. The tooth fairy is in it, just not as prominent as in the book.

Wot , teeth not as prominent. Shades of Janet Street Porter!!!!!!

Ya. It was. Quite accurately too if memory serves. Albeit slightly shorter?

HANG ON.
How can the tooth fairy not be important?
Or do you mean the cheerful fairy?

Cheerful Fairy. She was not a big part.

Tooth Fairy is pivotal to it....

Yes, that bit. I am glad they kept the Children with Hogfather bit (and I now realise The Maul is kinda hard to place as that description only shows up once in the book.)

For those living in Terror Ozstralis I have seen a vision in my local rag which avers that the Hogfather will be shown by Carnal 7 at 8.30pm on the night of 24 December 2007.

Expect 1hr 20 of program and 40 minutes of adverts.

Fortunately it's up against the Edinburgh Military Tattoo on 2; Carols by Candlelight on 9; 2 Fast 2 Furious on 10; and Mark and Venus/South Park on SBS.

Dagnabbit!
They always schedule the best shows so that they clash with each other.

The german version has its premiere on the 25th, 15.30h on ProSieben, part 2 on the 27th, 17.25h.

They do not tell who did the translation. The title "Hogfather - Schaurige
Weihnachten' is not very promising...

The Hogfather starts on Carnal 7 tomorrow night 23rd Dec at 8:30, with the second part same time on Xmas Eve. Putting it up against Wind in the Willows - which has some of the League of Gentlemen, and Matt Lucas from Little Britain. Well thats what's happening in Melbourne anyway.
