not part of Define that word!

Hi Violetmoon. Help yourself to pie. Today the sweet are on the left and the savoury are not.

Can I assume that you are in Tennessee? In which case savoury means savory & sweet means erm, sweet. drop me a PM or a line in the "Happy Birthday" thread and I will add you nameto the list. It is not compulsory and I frequently forget to check but then at my age, the poor memory is something, what is it? Oh yes, quite normal.

<jumps violently at being pinpointed so rapidly>

Yes I'm in Tennessee, and am from Tennessee. Thank you for the translation, but it isn't usually necessary. I work in an educated place and am comfortable with accents of many varieties. If I get totally confused I'll raise my hand and ask for help, if that's allowed? (Or is that a signal for someone to throw pie?) <worries over new rules to be learned>

Binder: to obstruct someone who has dropped an "H" and become a B. nuisance

Violetmoon, your word definition explains the difference.
The Savoury pies are marked with an "S" for Savoury, but the Sweet pies have an "S" for Sweet.

Here, have a marshmallow.

Marshmallow: a creature found in a bog which can be improved by impaling it on a stick, shoving it into a fire, then letting go of the stick

Define stick.

There are some pies which cannot easily be described as sweet or savoury, such as fruity chicken curry pies. I will mark them with an "S" for special to avoid any confusion and place them behind the others.
