o: it is vegetable although some are mineral.
1: Is it living? No
2: Can it be bought in a tin? (I like the punny nature of the question!) It wouldn't harm it to be sold this way, but I have never seen one like that.

Oh Oh Oh

Is it smaller than a breadbox!!!!???

Yippee, I got to ask once! Yay!

Geg, thanks for your earlier restraint. Next time I am in the Treehouse I will bring a loaf of handmade bread. I love to make bread. It's usually even edible. <grin> I'll even bring some honey that my bees made.

I'm sorry I was away. It wasn't a fun week. Glad to be back!

Thinks about vegetable things which don't live. Is worried. Vegetable, therefore must have been alive at some point? Puzzles. Quibbles. Conks.

I was more worried that minerals *might* live...

A piece of paper is vegetable, but until someone puts words on it it isn't living.

It was alive at some point though. I concede the point.

4. Are they more likely to be found in a house than a garden?

4: Are they more likely to be found in a hose than a garden? Well, as you would not keep it in a garden permanently, I think the answer is yes.

Can it be sat at or upon? (Is it furniture)?

5: Can it be sat upom? (Is it furniture?) I will ignore the @#$%& attempt to get 2 questions in as one, 'cos I like you. Yes. (No)

Spoiler alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that anything other than "yes" or "no" annoys some people. If they carry on reading more fool them. Still here? O.K. at your own risk. I feel it important to point out that if sat upon by me, it almost certainly will fail in its primary function afterwards! (I am exactly the right weight for someone 7'11")

End of spoiler alert !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, sorry 'bout that. I was not being intentionally sneaky, I assure you!

Is it typically made of wood?

Does it have moving parts (before being sat upon, I mean)?

Is it primarily decorative (rather than being primarily useful)?

9: Is it primarily decorative (rather than being primarily useful)? Difficult: mine is very decorative, but that may be caused by lack of skill. When used properly it is still hardly useful, but for some enjoyable. On balance, probably No
