Quietly replace rule book on top shelf of library

Look through window and see geg romping on mound of snow

Remember that I have left an uniced cake in tree house kitchen

Find cake but it has become iced in my absence

Ice over naughty words and leave on table for others.

<finds Apple iCed cake in kitchen. Realises that it has been rendered obsolete by new Apple iPie>

<creates iPie marks with "S" for sweet, marks cake "S" for superceded>

Suddenly recall the addition of salt instead of sugar to the cake icing

The sight of geg performing double axel jumps over the snow mound forced it from my mind

Hasten to kitchen but find cake already marked "s" for sodium

Relax

Takes salted cake and places next to salted liquorice in Speckles proof container. maks container with 's' to indicate something.

brings in 's' for' supply' of sweet muffins containming apricot and cocanut and something else my wife puts into them.

tries to leave supply of kilojoules in treehouse but they are attached to me and follow me home, and as 'home is where the heart is'* means they are all about my ribcage and lower abdomen.

exits treehouse wondering what would happen if Speckles came across a supply of sweet muffins?

* for those not old enough and with a twisted mentality: 'Home is where the heart is' is an Elvis song from the "Flaming Styar' days, I think. from that time anyway. It is listenable.

<hopes that Bunyip realises that he is older than he thinks: "home is where the heart is" is attributed to Pliny the Elder almost two thousand years before Elvis used it.>

Yes, but he could not sing as well as Elvis!

I know this as I have the Goon Show recording of 'Pliny the Elder" and it's not mentioned on that.

"I don't wish to know that, Count Jim!"

"Really, Neddy? You didn't stay dead for long."

"I say, Grytpype-Thynne, I spoke earlier with Pliny the elder, Pliny the younger, Pliny the kiddy and Pliny the fœtus, but I didn't not find that none of them wasn't tone-deaf."

"I don't wish to know that! Please leave the building."

Ah, happy days.

STANDS RED FACED IN THE CORNER WITH THE OTHER TWO.

All wear conical hats bearing the letter "S" for shameful behaviour.

Glad Skidmarks has forgotten to feed Speckles and hope he does not know.

Will stand here for two days.

Twice one day has elapsed.

Wander into hall and notice latest copy of "The Breach" has arrived.

Flick idly through the articles therein.

Usual letters from Dear Friends and glowing reports in the travel section on sceptr'd isles.

Glance through hall window and see Cannibal R on some sort of quest in the garden.

Try to attract his/her attention with a longbow. Miss.

<Forgets upset>

<Goes looking for munchies to accompany>
