cunning: verb present tense: to cun, so 'cunning' is to cun.


'cun' is a corrupt version of the old highland gaelic word 'ken' which is 'to know' (regardless of epistemological certainty) which means that whatever ken knows barbie will object to it, so 'cunning' becomes making a statement that your female associate will contradict.


It is a sort of marital double talk.
