If a moment is frozen in time how can you see? Surely the photons are frozen too?

even if they aren't the friction would rasp away eyes if you did anything so foolish as move a little, wouldn't it?
That's your cue, physics/science geeks!

I heard about a story like that, once. The main character got a magic artifact or word or something that allowed her to freeze time, but then she couldn't move because the air was solid and so she couldn't undo it. That would not be fun!

It certainly would mean the end of the story!

I think an addition of a small moose may help the situation.

Time frozen?
Try putting your watch in the microwave...

Wow, a moose!

Nah, that just leads nicely to a side quest to find the object/word that allows player to move around while times frozen.

If it's a moose, we're going to need a bigger boat...

I just laughed hysterically for about 10 minutes.

Did you then laugh non-hysterically?

How do you tell the difference, and why?

Just heard a bloke on the radio reporting on a local Agricultural Show and he said that he'd "stuck his nose in at the mohair exhibit".
Perhaps if he'd stuck his mo in at the nose hair exhibit he might have won a prize.

Yes, fair enough, I'll be off then.

Well, I think the moose got bored, so you'll have to make do with a small aubergine
