I wonder if the duck went behind the parapet of another thread as the conversation included too many oranges and lemons for ducks to go boldly where no duck has gone before this year boldly.

Non film goer's comment: If you like a film then it is good. If you don't then it was noyt good.
Good is subjective.
However is it great art/cinema/of merit is a nonsubjective assessment.
Consider Monty Python films. Enjoyable, yes, great art, I don't know. But I have them in my collection whereas I don't have GWTW or Nicol Williams "Hamlet'.
That makes sense. I liked 'Crystal Skull' but I thought it probably wasn't a great movie. 'The Incredible Hulk' was squeam-inducing but very well done.
What other movies have we Fforumites been watching recently? Or would like to see soon?

What about those of us who can delight in bad films?
I loved "I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle" and "Revenge of Billy the Kid" but I wouldn't describe either as good. Similarly, I thing that "Atonement" is probably a good, perhaps great film, but not my cup of tea.
More than anything else, I am looking forward to "Batman: The Dark Knight" and "Wall-E"
Re: Doctor Who -- my Sky+ programme guide for next week has DT's name in the credits, so he's still in the next episode at some point! The Sunday Times Culture supplement says that there's a prophecy that one of the heroes will die...
the format is color=white in square brackets and finishes with /color in square brackets. Don't worry about it being in bold - that is just to make it stand out a bit.
I don't think he'll regenerate either, but the 'threefold man' phrase is significant. Lots of things that people are picking up on are of questionable importance.
Question: Is Donna going to turn out to be a Time Lord?
Question: What is that Key that Martha has?
Question: What does the 'threefold man' mean?
Ping! Hippopotamus!
Thank you, Skids!
