Smirks in an "I know something you do't know" manner and blends into the background

Old Mother Goose when she wanted to wander would ride on the back of a very fine gander.

<waves to geg as she leaves, but is apparently unnoticed>
<frustrated by phone that both rings constantly and is never for me>
<relieved to be back in TreeHouse where the phone has to be on silent and I can ignore it>
<looks around and sees several faces attempting to look innocent and failing miserably. remembers advice from older sister when I started going to high school, age 12: "The ones who look innocent are probably the most guilty, and the teachers know that, so don't even try.">
<giggles quietly>
<frowns in confusion when Mother Goose walks by, with a Very Fine Looking Gander that does not look like the gander from last week>
<wishes less caffeine had been required to make it through the day. is jealous of snoring dogs next to me.>
<blinks tiredly>

Catch Geg painting the medical room in alternate wet and dry stripes.

Report her to the medical authorities for trying to confuse easily confused antipodeans.

Buy some cream from the dispensary to treat VM's caffeine dependency problem

Answer phone which has been silently ringing but there is No-one

Riffle through medical records to see where No- one lives. Ha-ha gotcha

Is this the legendary 'No one" as in 'no one does it better.....' or the no one as in the 'little man upon the stair...?

Bunyip dear, you are antipodeanly getting confused between those two bastions of negativity, nobody and no-one

Nobody does it better but No-one cares as much as I

Great misplaced unanswered question.

Mean to me, why must you be mean to me.? I can't help it if I was the eldest sister of four and my mum ran off with Fred Wardle when I was only 14 leaving me to cope. At about the same time I was offered the part of The Bossy Fairy in the school Panto. Both these events had a great effect on my subsequent behaviour and things have worsened over the years.

Now if your dad had run off with Fred Wardle then you really have a cause for complaint.

That happened several years later and being more mature I could cpoe with it in a grownup manner. However... my poor old mum was well devastated!!!
