<Realises sofa has now gone and is just crouching in the middle of the room. Wanders out to see what the decidedly feminine racket is and sees Zuki-Pah dangling. Tries to help by moving sofa around underneath her but probably ends up making things worse. Decides to go back to treehouse and sweep all the mess under the rug.>

<delicately drops down onto sofa and is thankful for extra cushion>

<lands with skirt perfectly flared - as an empress always should>

<wonders when Prinz realised she was royalty>

<goes to find the knight to tell him that royalty do not do television ads, but that she does know the ‘young lass’… and the hippos too>

<enters the scene>

<looks around>

<contemplates>

<inhales a feather>

<retreats to a corner, accidentally aggravating a small group of bats who seem to have taken refuge in the same corner>

<wonders how a corner can be outside without a house>

<hides in the not-corner with the bats for the sheer novelty of the thing>

<looks at Lady Teaspoon>

<would suggest moving as those bats? Thems Vampire bats>

<enters from the the other side of the corner, excited about the discovery of fabled outdoor corner>

<notices the vampyre bats and contemplates apparent wisdom of mother's advise to always keep a spare steak on you in case of encounter with outdoor-not-corner-dwelling-vampyre bats>

<watches the feathers and general commotion for awhile>

<waves to ellevictoria and Lady T, who seem startled by sudden appearence>

<*stomach rumbles embarrassingly audibly*>

<makes clear to Lady T that the corner was metaphysical and largely illogical, in keeping with the trend>

<suggests that if aria is indeed hungry, he should search out someone who did listen to mother's advice (not advise, which is in fact a verb), and has in their possession a steak>

<wonders whether aria meant stake or steak>

<notes that drawing attention to incidental spelling mistakes is not the way to make friends, so hands out chocolate instead>

<aria gratefully accepts ellevictoria's proffered chocolate and explains that she did in fact mean "stake" not "steak" (momentary homophone confusion due to hunger) and assures E.V. that she harbors no hard feelings>

<although ellevictoria's confusion prompts aria to muse for a moment about which word mother actually meant... resolves to visit mom at the nut-house early next week to find out>

*quickly scans posting for spelling/ grammer mistakes as proving to be illiterate also no way to make friends*

<has cake and duly offers it around. realises that this is indeed the way to make friends.>

<wonders very much what the difference is between <> and **, given that they seem to have the same effect...>

<bounces gently up and down, inviting others to do the same, if they dare>

I think it's personal preference, ellevictoria. People who post on sites that use html (such as Livejournal) might be more inclined to use the ** version, as <> don't show up.

<wonders how nicky managed to gain entry into the somewhat exclusive not-corner>

<comes out of his house to back porch again, disturbed by noise>

<shines 250,000,000 candle-light spottie up into the arborial foliage; looks up into trees and sees bats, people falling out of said trees onto hastily arranged (and garishly covered) settees, South Africans adorned with pillow feathers, philosophical discussions, and many other disturbing anti-social behavioiurs>

<goes 'tsk, tsk', unleashes the hounds, and goes back inside to watch final of National Wind Breaking Championship live on channel 9>
